Wednesday...Day Four......

Snuck in a quick picture of Jayne at preschool. Her smile will melt your heart.

After a lunch in the canteen of rice, meatballs and mystery veg we had some homework time and then hitched a ride with the driver who was going on some errands. He dropped us at the bank and then we hit Jenny Loo's, the supermarket for our snacks and some staples. Over to Starbuck's and then Zhou arrived with Katie from her school.......it was her late day and it was after 5pm. No complaining from the kids at St Pat's please.

We were invited to Robin and Joyce's for dinner to say goodbye to Molly who is leaving after her three weeks here. I wish we could have gotten to know her better. It was a lovely meal of steak and gravy with potatoes and peas and a purple yam dish. This followed by fresh fruit and ice cream. Very nice.

The girls finished their day playing with Fluffy the dog and Katie came over for a late night game of hide and seek. She is a very dear little girl who has a pretty unusual life. I enjoy spending time with her and love her quirky sense of humour.

Today there is no preschool but we will spend time with the kids and I will attempt some more scrapbooking. Oh Joy!!!

Tried to Skype Isabel this am but no luck. I recommend this service very highly. There she is on her computer in our family room and here are we so far away in another land and yet we get to see and talk to each other. Great.
